Where to play the official Dragonkind game
Go to www.dragonkind.com for the official browser game. Its public credits name Rebecca Yarros for the story and Infantree for the website. Dragonbonding.com is a separate project with original dragons and a different adventure. A result earned here does not belong to an official Dragonkind account.
If you searched for “Dragonkind game online,” this is the distinction to make first: use the official link for that game, or choose our free trial for a guest experience. This guide summarizes what we actually observed rather than promising a guaranteed dragon, a working exploit, or a full map of the official story.
How Dragonkind works: the flow we tested
- Email sign-in. Our 3 October session used an emailed verification code to reach the game.
- The rotunda. The logged-in lobby provides an adventure entrance and profile access. Public notices are a separate library.
- Cadet assignment. Before entering the trial, the screen displayed a wing, section and squad.
- Narrative choices. The 4 October opening offered solo or group entry, followed by a directional choice. Selecting an answer and advancing changed the scene.
- Outcome and retry. Our earlier failed route returned to the lobby with a timer. Check the result and your own lobby for the current retry state.
The official experience is therefore more than a “which dragon am I?” quiz. The player inhabits an assigned role and advances through an illustrated story. Our walkthrough does not prove every possible branch, successful color combination, or hidden rule. The assignment shown on one account should not be assumed to predict its dragon.
Dragon types, randomness and retry timers
Players often ask whether a blue dragon can be bonded, whether each attempt is random, and whether one response always succeeds. We cannot establish those claims from the routes we tested. In particular, we have not verified a precise death percentage or a complete color-and-tail outcome table. Treat a community route as a player report, rather than an official promise, until the game confirms it.
The approximately four-hour wait came from one failed 3 October attempt. It is useful evidence of a retry restriction on that account, but it is not a universal schedule. Current notices, the outcome screen and your lobby timer are more relevant to your next attempt than another player’s old screenshot.
Show the failed route we tested · scene spoilers
In our 3 October run, solo entry, a forest route, a red-dragon encounter and a direct gaze led to failure. This records one result; it does not demonstrate that the same sequence always fails, or reveal the official probability model.
Official game, fan quizzes, and our trial
| Experience | What you do | Result and progress |
|---|---|---|
| Official Dragonkind | Sign in, receive a cadet assignment and follow branching scenes. | Official account outcomes and the retry state shown by that site. |
| Empyrean Riders quiz | Answer a personality questionnaire on a fan website. | A suggested dragon from the books; a different product from the official adventure. |
| Our Flight Trial | Choose two tools, a route, rescue, signals, beacon work and a return. | Four original dragons, explained endings, local records and immediate retries. |
| Our Dragon Match | Answer eight original scenario questions. | A suggested original companion; a match does not count as a trial bond. |

Our independent Threshing Day game alternative runs directly in your browser. It follows the broad idea of choices, danger and earning trust, using a storm-archipelago mission and four original dragons. The choice cost is visible before confirmation; identical decisions have identical results in this version. There is no hidden death roll, login or cooldown.
Meet the dragons in the field guide, begin with the dragon bonding quiz, or read our trial rules and tips. Our Fourth Wing game for fans homepage explains both local modes and links back to the official experience.
