Dragon Bonding is the independent website project described on our about page. It is operated by the owner of this website and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any third-party author, publisher, or game developer. Our characters, setting, and illustrations were developed for this project.
Saved choices on this device
This version uses your browser’s local storage to remember an unfinished trial, quiz answers, a suggested match, discovered field notes, and up to 50 completed flight records with their dates. These records support resume, replay, and your field guide. They are not connected to an account and do not synchronize between devices. Browser clearing, private browsing, or storage restrictions can remove or prevent saved progress.
The game can continue in the current tab if the browser refuses storage. A notice tells you when a save could not be written. You can clear your saved progress using the control below.
Shared results and downloaded cards
Saving a bond card downloads a PNG to your device. Copying a result link first asks you to confirm the disclosure. The link contains the dragon, route summary, wind-record quality, and the actions recognized by the dragon. It contains no email, account details, chosen display name, full choice log, or quiz answers.
The summary is encoded in the link itself. It is not an authenticated achievement or a private account record. Anyone who receives the link can read or forward the summary. The link has no expiry or remote deletion feature; clearing saved progress cannot recall a copied link or downloaded card. Opening someone else’s result does not add a bond to your own collection.
Anonymous visits and game analytics
Analytics starts when you enter this site, without an account or a consent dialog. We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-7R7XXQ1RT1) for visits and game events, and Cloudflare D1 for our own anonymous player records. “Anonymous player” means a random browser identifier, not a verified person or an account login. Visits on another device or after cookies are cleared may appear as a different player.
D1 stores an anonymous first-party identifier, visit times, country, browser family, device category, page category, referring website hostname, and campaign source, medium, and name when supplied in the link. Country comes from Cloudflare’s connection information; it is approximate and may reflect a VPN or network exit. We do not store raw IP addresses, exact locations, full browser strings, referrer paths, or arbitrary URL parameters in D1. Shared result links are recorded as a page category without their encoded summary.
Browser and channel are separate fields: Chrome is a browser; ChatGPT, Google, and social referrals are channels. Source attribution relies on a referring hostname or explicit campaign parameter. A visit without those signals is classified as direct; that classification cannot prove where a copied link was first discovered.
Participation events include game starts, confirmed steps, completed games, saved matches or field notes, card downloads, and copied result links. Completed-game summaries include the game, dragon, match or trial outcome, route, mission status, and record quality where applicable. Full quiz answers, individual choice text, and complete flight logs stay in your local journal. Result summaries are analytics, not authenticated achievements. Our player identifiers are not sent to Google.
Page requests, cookies, and service providers
Cloudflare provides this website’s hosting, DNS, content delivery, and HTTPS services. It processes page and image requests, including connection data such as IP address, request time, requested URL, and browser information, to deliver and protect the site. A requested URL can include a shared result summary. Cloudflare’s processing and retention are described in its privacy policy. We do not keep a separate application request-log store; Worker request logging is disabled for this release. Cloudflare may still process network and security data under its own policy.
Application fonts and illustrations are served with the site. The first-party db_player cookie is HttpOnly and lasts up to 90 days after a recorded visit. A separate session identifier and attribution are stored in browser session storage; a session expires after 30 minutes of inactivity. Google Analytics loads its tag from Google, uses its own analytics cookies, and processes interaction and connection data under Google’s privacy policy. Google signals and ad personalization are disabled in our tag configuration. We do not request names, email addresses, or account sign-in, and do not connect your game to the official Dragonkind service.
Banner and Native Banner advertising
Selected content pages and completed-game results display Adsterra Banner or Native Banner advertisements. Each page has at most one advertising placement, clearly labeled “Advertisement.” Active trial decisions and quiz questions do not load advertisements. Third-party advertising is separate from our original dragons and gameplay.
When an advertising placement approaches the visible screen, your browser requests advertising scripts, images, and frames from Adsterra and its advertising partners. Those providers receive connection and browser information, such as IP address and device information, and may use cookies or similar technologies to deliver ads, measure impressions, and detect invalid traffic. Their processing and retention are governed by their own policies. Our 90-day D1 retention does not apply to their records. See Adsterra’s privacy policy.
We isolate advertising in a separate frame and send an origin-only referrer. We do not provide our anonymous player identifier, full quiz answers, flight log, or encoded shared result to advertising scripts. Ads are not required to play or save a result. You can use browser advertising controls or blocking tools to limit advertising requests; missing or blocked ads do not prevent gameplay. Clicking an advertisement takes you to a third-party site whose own terms and privacy practices apply.
Retention and your choices
Game records remain in this browser until you clear them, your browser removes its site data, or older completed records are replaced after the 50-record limit. You can play without copying a result link. Keep a downloaded card if you want a personal copy, and consider its recipients before sharing.
D1 events and result summaries are removed after 90 days by a daily cleanup. Inactive player and session records are also removed after 90 days. Cloudflare backup recovery may retain prior database states under its backup policy. Google Analytics data follows the retention configured in the Google Analytics property, which is separate from D1 retention. Clearing saved progress below removes the local journal only; it does not delete previously collected analytics or Google cookies. Browser site-data controls and analytics-blocking tools can limit future collection.

There is no saved game progress to clear in this browser.
This cannot recall downloaded cards or result links that have already been copied or shared. It clears the local journal only; previously recorded analytics are retained as described above.
Age, contact, and updates
The game does not request age or contact details from players. It is a fictional adventure with danger, rescue dilemmas, and possible injury. This release does not include an in-site messaging form or a public privacy contact. This notice will be updated when contact details, account features, or data practices change.
