Prepare. Read the storm. Make the hard call.
A dragon may choose to return with you.

Carry two tools. Your lens, kit, or rope opens different actions.

Find shelter, old records, or warm rocks. A route changes the dragon you meet.

Help a stranded candidate or protect the signal window. Read the cost first.

Notice its signals. A measured response matters as much as a brave one.

Secure the light or recover its wind record. Your tools and help matter.

Offer a shared return. Completing the mission and forming a bond are separate.
The flight trial is a branching story with equipment, rescue decisions, and a mission outcome. The eight-question quiz suggests a dragon affinity. A suggested match does not count as a bond; a bond forms only when a willing dragon accepts your shared return after a completed mission.
Yes. Both experiences run in your browser without an account or download. You can pause between choices and return on the same device and browser while its saved site data remains available.
No. The same eight quiz answers produce the same affinity match in this version. The flight trial follows your equipment, route, and decisions, so repeating the same choices gives the same outcome. A different answer or action can change the result; repeating a run does not add a hidden chance of success.
Yes. Rill, Bracken, Mica, and Vesper each have an available route and a possible completed bond. The clifftop leads to Rill, the boardwalk to Bracken, the warm rocks to Mica, and the wind tower to Vesper. The warm-rock route needs the observation lens. Reaching a dragon or saving a quiz match does not guarantee that it will accept a shared return.
Some actions are unavailable and explain the tool they need. Other actions have alternatives: without a rescue rope, you can look for a sheltered ladder; a rescued companion can lend a beacon fitting. Read the clue and selected action’s known cost before confirming.
No. The storm window changes with story decisions rather than elapsed real time. You can read at your own pace and retry immediately. An unsafe crossing can interrupt the mission, but there is no random death roll or paid recovery.
Restoring the beacon solves the mission. A dragon also notices your approach, rescue decisions, and signals. It may remain unbound, or you may choose to return alone. The result explains both outcomes and lets you review the flight log or revisit a decision.
Unfinished choices, quiz answers, and completed flight records are saved in this browser. A downloaded card stays with you. Copying a result link asks you to confirm first and shares only the dragon and flight summary. Anyone with that link can read it, and clearing local data cannot recall a copied link.
No. Dragon Bonding is an independently operated experience with characters and stories developed for this website. It is not presented as an official adaptation or licensed product.
Every trial begins with two tools. The observation lens reveals the warm-rock route and a safer crossing interval. The repair kit provides a reliable way to secure the beacon. The rescue rope opens two ways to help the stranded candidate. Missing equipment is shown beside unavailable actions, so you can plan around what you carry.
The route is also an encounter choice. The clifftop leads toward Rill, the boardwalk toward Bracken, the wind tower toward Vesper, and the warm rocks toward Mica. Route detours and rescue work can use a safe story window. The window never counts down while you read.
Repairing the beacon and recovering its wind record are related tasks. A manual repair produces a partial record. Reading the complete record requires the kit, lens, or records from the tower. A rescued companion can lend a fitting for a manual repair. If you build a return path first, the beacon still needs work, and the last interval may already be closing.
Your dragon’s answer follows its own priorities. Rill values reading the wind and keeping the beacon steady. Bracken notices whether the candidate has a way home. Mica responds to prepared action. Vesper responds to coordinated signals and a recovered wind record. Completing the mission does not automatically form a bond, and choosing to return alone always ends without one.
The final screen separates mission status, binding status, and the wind record. Review your log to see each selected action and its known cost. Revisit a decision to try a different branch; the completed record stays in your guide. Only a completed, accepted shared return counts as a formed bond.
